Why more technology is not the answer
The number of platforms a school owns is a poor measure of digital maturity.
Technology procurement usually happens one need at a time. Admissions selects a CRM. Academic teams use an SIS and learning platform. Finance, marketing and parent services adopt tools suited to their responsibilities. Each decision may be reasonable, but the resulting experience is rarely designed as one operating system.
